Beluga Premium is the highest grade, chosen for superior visual brilliance, delicate texture, and a long, sophisticated finish.

Pumped / No-Kill Method

All Aquatir Classics are produced using the pumped, no-kill method. Eggs are gently extracted while the fish remains alive, allowing sturgeon to continue producing roe every 1–2 years.

This sustainable and ethical approach ensures:

About the Sturgeon

Sturgeon are among the oldest living fish species, dating back over 200 million years. Slow-growing and carefully raised, they are cultivated over many years to ensure premium quality caviar.

• Lifespan: Up to 50–100 years

• Time to egg maturity:

  • Sterlet: 7–9 years

  • Russian Sturgeon: 10–12 years

  • Beluga: 18–22 years

These long growth cycles contribute to the rarity, texture, and refined flavour of Beluga caviar.

Storage & Handling

• Keep sealed until service

• Always maintain the cold chain

• Once opened, wrap tightly with cling film so it touches the caviar surface

• Shelf life after opening:

  • Larger tins: 2–3 days

  • 10g tins: same-day consumption recommended

• Never freeze caviar

• Shelf Life: 8 months – Pasteurized
• Shelf Life: 4 months – Non-pasteurized
• Optimal Storage Temperature: –2°C to –4°C
